Fire pump installation preparations
1. The fire pump cable should be intact;
2. The insulation resistance of the motor should be greater than 50MΩ;
3. All fasteners should not be loose, and the motor barrel should be intact;
4. The guide rod should be firmly fastened, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the fire pump.
Fire pump installation
1. Stainless steel chains should be used for lifting the fire pump, and they should always be placed on the lifting screws of the pump group;
2. The fire pump and its matching control cabinet are reliably grounded;
3. Due to the high water pressure of the fire pump, the pump is not suitable for matching with the coupling. The outlet of the fire pump should be rigidly connected to a metal hose or steel pipe. The length of the pipe connected to the pump outlet must extend out of the pool cover for easy disassembly;
4. The fire pump outlet should be equipped with a hose check valve according to the specifications;
5. The pump outlet pipe should be supported on the ground to avoid deformation or damage to the fire pump.
Fire pump test run:
1. When debugging the fire pump, if the pressure is found to be less than the specified requirements, the motor may be reversed. You should replace any phase sequence of the three-phase wire. If the pressure is still low and unstable, the fire pump outlet pipe should be deflated;
2. When the fire pump is running, the outlet valve should be adjusted so that the outlet pressure during operation meets the rated requirements, otherwise it will affect the fire fighting effect or cause the fire pump to overload.
