Analysis of White Smoke in Diesel Generator Operation.

When a diesel generator emits white smoke during operation, don't panic first. White smoke can be divided into gray white smoke and water vapor white smoke. Users can analyze the two colors of smoke by external reasons.
1. Gray white smoke: When the fuel entering the diesel generator cylinder burns poorly, part of the fuel evaporates into gas vapor and is discharged with the exhaust gas, mainly caused by the following reasons:
(1) The needle valve of the fuel injector is stuck in the open position;
(2) The fuel injector sprays poorly;
(3) The diesel generator fuel injection advance angle is too small;
(4) Insufficient compression;
(5) Low operating temperature;
(6) Damage to the thermostat;
(7) Damage to the coolant temperature sensor;
(8) There is a problem with the diesel generator's cooling system.

2. Water vapor white smoke: Water enters the combustion chamber and vaporizes under heat, mainly caused by the following reasons:
(1) Water in the fuel;
(2) The cylinder head gasket of the diesel generator is burned out;
(3) There is a crack in the cylinder or cylinder head.

Above is the fault analysis of two kinds of white smoke generated by the diesel generator after long-term use. If problems occur, they should be dealt with in time to ensure better operation later. If you have any questions, please consult us specifically.
