Purify diesel: Generally, diesel contains a variety of minerals and impurities. If it is not purified by sedimentation filtration, it will affect the operation of the plunger and the injector head, resulting in uneven fuel supply, poor fuel atomization, etc., which will reduce the engine power and increase fuel consumption. Therefore, it is recommended to let the diesel stand for some time to allow impurities to settle and filter the funnel with a filter when refueling. Then clean or replace the filter regularly to achieve the purpose of purification.
Remove carbon deposits from various components: When the diesel engine works, polymers are attached to the valves, valve seats, injectors, and piston tops. These carbon deposits will increase fuel consumption, and the generator set should be removed in time.
Maintain water temperature: If the diesel engine's cooling water temperature is too low, the diesel will not be completely burned, affecting the power output and wasting fuel. Therefore, it is necessary to use thermal insulation curtains appropriately and pay attention to using soft water without minerals, such as flowing river water, for cooling water.
Do not overload: When the machine is overloaded, black smoke will be emitted, which is the emission of fuel that is not fully burned. As long as the machine often emits black smoke, it will increase fuel consumption and shorten the service life of parts.
Regular inspection and timely repair: Be diligent with your eyes and hands, check the machine regularly or irregularly, maintain it frequently, and repair it in time if there is a fault. Do not let the machine work when it is faulty. Instead, it will cause greater losses.
Diesel generators, like car engines, need protection and maintenance. Under normal protection and maintenance, there is generally no problem.
