Diesel generator sets are not used as a common power source, nor are they used almost every day like common household appliances. They are only used as a backup power source. They are only used to generate electricity when there is a power outage or when the city's power is insufficient. Therefore, sometimes they are used less than once or twice a year. However, they are indispensable when they are needed; at this time, if the professional operator is not on site, how should the novice start the diesel generator set?
First of all, the diesel generator sets shipped from the factory are all standard configurations, all with a one-button start button, with automatic start, automatic shutdown, and automatic fault protection functions. The battery, muffler, shock pad, etc. of the generator set are all fully configured.
1. Before starting, check whether all parts of the diesel engine are normal, check the water level of the water tank (the liquid level should be as close to the cover as possible), if it does not need to be replenished, check the oil level (make sure the oil level is between the maximum and minimum values of the dipstick scale), check whether the fuel is sufficient, and whether there is leakage
2. Open the electric lock, press the manual lock (Manual), and then press the start button (Start) for 2 seconds and release; Open, after the controller shows that the unit is running normally, you can close the switch and supply power. If the unit water temperature is high, the oil pressure is low, or the speed is over, the control system will automatically alarm and automatically stop. Note: During the operation of the generator set, the connection between the battery and the set must not be disconnected.
3. Shutdown
After the power generation is completed, the load switch must be turned off first, that is, the output switch must be disconnected, and the stop button (Stop) must be pressed. The shutdown delay is 40 seconds. After the shutdown, check whether the generator set has leakage. When the generator set has an emergency, it is allowed to press the emergency stop button.
4. Precautions:
After the diesel generator set runs for 50-100 hours, the oil filter element 15W-40 needs to be replaced. After the generator set runs for 250-300 hours, the diesel filter element, oil filter element, and air filter element need to be replaced.
