1. Regulations on the layout of diesel generator rooms:

Diesel generator rooms can be arranged on the first floor or the first underground floor, and should comply with the following regulations:

a. Diesel generator rooms should be separated from other parts by partitions with a fire resistance limit of not less than 2.00h and floors with a fire resistance limit of 1.50h.

b. A ​​separate oil storage room should be set up, and the oil storage capacity should not exceed the required amount for 8 hours. Anti-leakage and anti-oil leakage measures should be taken, and the oil tank should have a vent pipe (outdoor); the oil storage room should be separated from the generator room by a fire wall; when it is necessary to open a door on the fire wall, a Class A fire door that can close automatically should be set up.

c. Use independent fire separation and divide the fire partition separately.

2. Regulations on the configuration of fire protection facilities:

a. Fire hydrants, fire belts, and fire hoses are set outside the machine room.

b. Oil fire extinguishers, dry powder fire extinguishers, and gas fire extinguishers are set up in the machine room.

c. There are eye-catching safety icons and words prohibiting fireworks.

d. There is a dry fire sand pool in the machine room.

e. There must be isolation measures from the oil depot.

f. The generator set is at least one meter away from the building and other equipment, and maintains good ventilation.

g. There are emergency lighting and emergency instructions, and the basement must also have independent exhaust. Fire alarm device.
