3. The corresponding pipe flanges on both sides of the inlet and outlet flanges of the diesel water pump unit should be bolted, and the fixing process should be stress-free. Tighten the bolts in a free state.
4. Check the connection quality of the corresponding pipe flanges on both sides of the inlet and outlet flanges and check that the concentricity of the pump and the engine should be guaranteed to be within the allowable accuracy range.
5. Appropriately increase the straight pipe length of the diesel engine water pump unit, the inlet and outlet water pipes, and reduce the hydraulic loss caused by the reducer elbow.
6. When installing the pipe, unnecessary bending should be avoided as much as possible, especially the 90 elbow.
7. The connection of the inlet and outlet pipes of the diesel engine water pump unit should be flexible to avoid the huge stress caused by the thermal expansion and contraction of the metal pipe, which will lead to the excessive accuracy of the water pump alignment and the difficulty of the water pump valve inspection and disassembly. 8. When the pipe is connected to the reducer, the water inlet pipe should be equipped with a one-way eccentric reducer and installed horizontally. The shrink pipe can use a straight cone pipe on the outlet pipe and the riser. The fluctuation of the liquid in the pipeline should be avoided. Improper use of liquid fluctuation shrinkage will form an air chamber in the pipeline, thereby hindering the normal use of the pump. 9. The pipe of the diesel engine water pump unit should be as short and straight as possible. The horizontal water inlet pipe must be gradually raised to the pump inlet with a slight slope of 20/1000. 10. The pipe should be equipped with a constant head/check valve or a check valve + pressure holding valve + flow regulating valve. The constant head/check valve also has the functions of pressure holding valve, anti-water hammer, check valve, flow regulating valve, etc. The above are the installation requirements for the inlet and outlet pipes of the diesel engine water pump unit.
