1. Adding pads to treat leaks
If the diesel engine oil pipe joint leaks oil, you can add a layer of double-sided smooth thin plastic pads on both sides of the leak-proof gasket and tighten it firmly.
2. Paint flake liquid leak treatment method
For leakage at the joints of diesel engine oil tanks, water tanks, axle boxes, etc., you can soak the paint flakes in alcohol and apply the paint flake liquid to the cleaned joints to prevent leakage. However, the cost of paint flakes is high and they are generally used in emergencies.
3. Oil-based leak prevention method
When the paper gaskets on the oil pan, cylinder head, gear chamber cover, crankcase rear cover, etc. of the diesel generator leak, as long as the paper gasket is intact and the joint surface is kept clean, you can apply a layer of butter on both sides of the paper gasket and tighten the bolts to prevent leakage. If you replace it with a new paper gasket, soak the new paper gasket in diesel for 10 minutes before installation, then take it out and wipe it clean, apply a layer of butter on the joint surface, and then install it.
4. Liquid sealant leak prevention method
When solid gasket defects (such as pits, grooves, and cracks) appear on the diesel generator and form interfacial leakage and destructive leakage, apply liquid sealant on the cleaned solid gasket joint surface. After curing, it can form a uniform, stable, continuously adhered peelable film gasket, which can prevent all leakage.
5. Anaerobic glue leak treatment method
When there is leakage in the vent bolts, studs, screw plugs, etc. on the diesel engine, anaerobic glue can be applied to the cleaned bolts, threads or screw holes. It can quickly solidify to form a film, fill the gaps between parts, and withstand greater pressure. It also has strong shock resistance and anti-loosening fastening functions. If used in the threads of the high-pressure oil pipe joints of diesel engines, the leak treatment effect is better.
6. Dimension recovery glue leak treatment method
When there is leakage in the shaft and sleeve, bearing and bearing seat, valve and valve seat, self-tightening oil seal, felt cup, and packing on the diesel engine, the dimension recovery glue can be applied to the cleaned worn parts of the mating parts. After solidification, a wear-resistant, heat-resistant, and mechanically strong film layer is formed, and then machining such as turning, boring, scraping, and filing is performed to restore the geometric shape and matching accuracy of the parts, thereby solving the leakage problem.
7. Leak repair method with adhesive patching glue
When the parts of the diesel engine, such as the oil tank, water tank, oil pipe, water pipe, etc., are leaking due to sand holes or air holes, apply adhesive patching glue to the cleaned damaged parts to achieve the effect of leak repair.
