1.Installation Key Points of the Transmission System: When using the triangular belt transmission method, the main shaft of the power machine and the pump shaft must be kept parallel, and the pulleys should be precisely aligned. The center distance between them should not be less than twice the sum of the diameters of the two pulleys. If the water pump and the power machine are directly connected, a common chassis should be equipped, and a claw-type elastic coupling should be selected. During the installation process, a steel ruler should be used for a detailed inspection at the coupling part to ensure that the pump shaft and the power machine shaft achieve a high degree of coaxiality, so as to ensure the stable operation of the equipment and reduce the risk of failure.
2.Pre-start Preparations: Before starting the self-priming pump, it is necessary to ensure that the pump body is filled with stored water, which is a key step to ensure its self-priming performance. It is strictly prohibited to start the operation without confirming the water storage situation to avoid burning out the seals due to dry running. For the centrifugal pump, before starting, water should also be injected into the pump first. Only after the inlet pipeline and the pump body are completely filled with water can it be started, so as to ensure the normal operation of the water pump and avoid damage to the equipment caused by idling.
