With the expansion of international trade, different countries have different regulations on exhaust emissions of diesel generators. In order to break this technical barrier, our company has made a lot of improvements to the emission problems of diesel generators. The pollution problem can be improved by improving the intake system or by adding water to the fuel. This article mainly talks about the method of mixing fuel with water, including injecting water from the air pipe and emulsifying diesel.
1. Spray water into the water inlet pipe
The main function of spraying water in the intake pipe of the diesel generator is to absorb heat and dilute the fuel density. When a small amount of water enters the combustion chamber and is well atomized, the oil droplets are broken into smaller particles due to the "micro-explosion" effect of water vapor, thereby promoting the formation and combustion of the mixture. During the combustion process, due to the heat absorption of water, the higher combustion temperature can be reduced. For example, the fuel density can be reduced by mixing water with oil, and the higher combustion temperature can be further reduced, thereby reducing the emission of polluting gases. It should be noted that the water storage tank should be antifreeze in winter, and the amount of water spray should be automatically adjusted according to the load.
2. Emulsified diesel
Adding water to diesel is emulsified diesel. Due to its "micro-explosion" effect, the fuel is well atomized, and the air in the combustion chamber forms a strong turbulence, making the distribution of fuel and air more uniform, reducing the generated soot. The water vapor reaction of water vapor also reduces the emission of soot. In addition, emulsified diesel can reduce the higher combustion temperature, so the generation of polluting gases is reduced.
If the diesel generator set cannot automatically shut down during use, let's do a simple analysis first.
First, you can use a multimeter to measure the working voltage of the diesel engine shutdown relay and compare it with the normal voltage. If the relay still does not work, you need to replace the relay, and then run it at no-load. The unit is running normally; In addition, you can use a multimeter to measure the working voltage of the diesel engine shutdown solenoid valve. After comparing the normal voltage and resistance, you can judge that the solenoid valve is too dirty, resulting in the diesel engine automatically shutting down. The solenoid valve cannot shut off the fuel in time, and part of the fuel flows into the injector, causing the diesel engine to run at idle speed. At this time, disconnect the DC positive power line, remove the solenoid valve for cleaning, and adjust the reed tension, and then perform no-load debugging. The unit runs normally.
