The water pumps with diesel engines mainly include self-priming centrifugal pumps, deep well pumps, submersible pumps and other types.
1. Self-priming centrifugal pumps
The characteristics of self-priming centrifugal pumps are that they have self-priming ability when starting, and can be used for mud and sewage discharge. It is widely used in agricultural irrigation, urban water supply, water plants, water treatment, fire fighting, water use in industrial and mining enterprises, environmental protection and other fields. When starting this pump, it needs to rely on its own self-priming ability and continuously send the introduced liquid into the pump casing, so as to remove the air that should be in the entire suction pipe to establish a continuous liquid flow.
2. Deep well pumps
Deep well pumps are suitable for occasions where the groundwater level is deep or where long-term continuous water supply is required. Its working principle is to connect the water injection hole through a pipe to lift the water in the pumping well to the ground or a certain height for supply. The location of the water inlet hole of the deep well pump is at the hinge of the pump, that is, at the connection between the water pump and the water pipe. Deep well pumps are classified into two types: direct pull type and stamping type. The motor and pump of the former are integrated, which is easy to install, but the power is limited; the motor and pump of the latter are separated, which is more troublesome to install, but the power is larger.
3. Submersible pump
Submersible pump integrates the motor and pump body. When working, the entire pump body is immersed in water. It is suitable for situations with high water levels and high pollution, such as municipal sewage, urban construction drainage, pond fish farming, etc. Its working principle is to place the pump body in water, start to pump water out of the pond or well through movement, and transport the liquid to the desired location through pipes. According to different applicable scenarios, submersible pumps can be divided into general submersible pumps and sewage submersible pumps.
