1. The diesel engine valve spring is broken, the tappet is bent, and the push rod sleeve is worn:
If there is a rhythmic slight knocking sound at the cylinder, the diesel engine parts should be inspected and damaged parts should be replaced, and the valve clearance should be corrected.
2. The radial clearance of the crankshaft rolling main bearing is too small:
The diesel generator set makes a particularly sharp sound during operation, and the sound becomes clearer when the throttle is increased. The reason for this situation is that the radial clearance of the crankshaft rolling main bearing is too large. At this time, the noisy rolling main bearing should be checked and replaced if necessary.
3. The front and rear thrust bearings of the crankshaft are worn, and the axial clearance is too large, causing the crankshaft to move forward and backward:
When the diesel generator set is running, you hear the collision sound of the crankshaft moving back and forth. At this time, you should check the axial clearance and the wear degree of the thrust bearing, and replace it if necessary.
4. There is no oil between the rocker arm adjustment screw and the spherical seat of the push rod:
Abnormal noise failure analysis when the diesel generator set is running. If you hear a "squeaking" sound from dry friction at the cylinder head, you should remove the cylinder head cover and add engine oil.
5. Press the engine's start button to start it running:
If the diesel generator set fails to start for the first time, you can press the corresponding reset button on the power distribution panel and wait until the alarm is eliminated and the diesel generator set returns to normal before starting it for the second time. After starting, the machine's running sound is normal, the cooling water pump running indicator light is on and the road instrument indication is normal, indicating a successful start.
6. Valve hits piston:
During operation, the cylinder head makes a heavy, even and rhythmic knocking sound. Gently hold the nut of the cylinder head cover with your fingers and feel a collision. Remove the cylinder head cover, check the cause of the collision, and adjust the valve clearance. If necessary, check for abnormal noise when the diesel engine is running. Analyze whether the piston model is misadjusted. If there is a collision, you can dig a deep valve pit or add a copper gasket with a thickness of 0.2mm or 0.4mm and the same shape as the bottom of the cylinder. .
7. The gap between the intake and exhaust valves is too large:
Abnormal noise failure analysis when the diesel generator set is running. A rhythmic and loud sound is heard at the cylinder head. At this time, the valve clearance should be recalibrated.
8. The transmission gear is worn and the gap is too large:
Abnormal sounds are emitted from the front cover of the diesel generator set. When the diesel engine suddenly slows down, a crashing sound can be heard. At this time, the tooth gap should be adjusted and the gears should be replaced according to the wear and tear.
In addition, if there is an abnormal collision sound when the turbocharger of the diesel generator set is running. At this time, the bearings should be disassembled and inspected to see if they are worn, and the impeller blades are bent. Measure the abnormal noise when the main diesel engine is running, analyze the gaps, make adjustments and replace damaged parts, and clean the oil filter and inlet and outlet of the supercharger. Oil pipeline to ensure smooth flow of lubricating oil when the diesel engine is running.
