1. Preparation before starting the unit:
a. Check the oil level, coolant level and fuel volume of the diesel generator;
b. Check whether there are oil and water leaks in the pipelines and joints of the diesel engine's fuel supply, lubrication, cooling and other systems;
c. Check whether the electrical circuit has any leakage hazards such as broken skin, whether the grounding wire electrical circuit is loose, and whether the connection between the unit and the foundation is firm;
d. If the ambient temperature is below 0 degrees Celsius, a certain proportion of antifreeze must be added to the radiator;
e. When the diesel generator set is started for the first time or restarted after a long shutdown, the air in the fuel system should be exhausted with a hand pump.
2. Start
a. After closing the fuse in the control box, press the start button and press the button for 3~5s. If the start fails, wait for about 20s to start again. If multiple starts fail, the start operation should be stopped, and the battery voltage or oil circuit fault factors should be eliminated before starting again.
b. Observe the oil pressure when starting. If the oil pressure is not displayed or is very low, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
III. Operation
a. After the unit is started, check the parameters of the control box module; oil pressure, water temperature, voltage, frequency, etc.
b. Under normal circumstances, the speed of the unit reaches the rated speed directly after starting; for units with idle requirements, the idle time is generally 3~5min, and the idle time should not be too long, otherwise the generator-related components may be burned.
c. Check the leakage of the unit's oil circuit, water circuit and electrical appliances.
d. Check the tightness of each connection of the unit to see if there is looseness and severe vibration.
e. Observe whether the various protection and monitoring devices of the unit are normal
f. When the speed reaches the rated speed and the parameters of no-load operation are stable, close the switch and supply power.
g. Check and confirm whether the parameters of the control panel are within the allowable range, and check the vibration of the unit again for three leaks and other faults.
h. Overloading is strictly prohibited during unit operation.
4. Normal shutdown
Before shutdown, the switch must be opened first. Generally, it needs to run for 3~5 minutes to stop after unloading.
5. Emergency shutdown
a. When the generator set is running abnormally, it must be shut down immediately.
b. In case of emergency shutdown, press the emergency stop button or quickly push the injection pump shutdown control handle to the parking position.
6. Maintenance matters
a. The replacement time of diesel engine filter is 300 hours; the replacement time of air filter is every 400 hours; the first replacement time of oil filter is 50 hours, and the subsequent replacement time is 250 hours.
b. The first replacement time of engine oil is 50 hours, and the normal replacement time of engine oil is every 250 hours.
