When using a diesel water pump, in order to ensure its reliability, the entire control system cannot be separated from daily management, so it is very important to maintain the diesel water pump on weekdays. Correct maintenance can extend the service life of the machine. Let's talk about some maintenance methods for diesel water pumps.
1. Check the oil level of the diesel engine water pump oil pan: Check whether the oil level reaches the mark on the oil dipstick. If it is insufficient, add the specified amount, but it cannot exceed the upper limit of the oil dipstick; the diesel engine oil specification is replaced every 12 months/time, and the diesel filter element is replaced every 12 months/time.
2. Check whether the lubricating grease in the oil filling point of the diesel water pump is sufficient: remove the oil filling nozzle on the diesel engine circulating water pump and observe whether the grease inside is sufficient. If it is insufficient, use a grease gun to add sufficient lubricating grease. The lubricating grease is checked once a week and filled as needed.
3. Check whether there is enough water in the cooling water tank of the diesel water pump: Check if there is not enough water in the water tank and add it in time. The added water should be clean fresh water. If groundwater is added directly, it is easy to cause scaling in the water tank, affecting the cooling effect and causing failure. In winter, when the ambient temperature is below zero, antifreeze with appropriate freezing point must be configured according to the lowest ambient temperature; antifreeze should be added and replaced every 12 months, and replaced with antifreeze in November of the year.
4. Check whether there is enough oil in the diesel water pump tank: the diesel in the storage tank should always be sufficient and should not be less than 50% of the tank volume. When refueling, ensure that water and impurities are removed; add diesel and replace the diesel filter every 12 months.
5. Daily inspection of three leaks (water, oil, gas): Check the sealing surface of the diesel water pump oil pipe and water pipe joints. If leakage is found, it should be solved immediately. If the supercharger at the exhaust pipe and cylinder gasket is loose or leaking, it should also be solved in time.
6. Check the condition of the diesel water pump battery: observe whether the shell is cracked or uneven, and whether the positive and negative terminals are loose or slipped. If it is a wet battery, you should also pay attention to the electrolyte level in the battery, which should be 10~15mm higher than the plate surface.
7. Check after every long-term operation: Check the diesel water pump muffler and exhaust pipe, remove carbon deposits to prevent sparks, check whether the water pump packing seal is worn and replace it in time if necessary.
8. Check the installation of the accessories of the diesel engine water pump: the installation stability of each accessory, and whether the anchor bolts are firmly connected to the working machinery.
9. Check the diesel water pump transmission connection plate: check whether the connecting bolts are loose, and tighten the bolts in advance if they are loose.
10. Clean the appearance of the diesel water pump and accessory equipment: wipe the oil stains, water and dust on the surface of the fuselage, cylinder head, air filter, etc. with a dry cloth or a cloth soaked in diesel, and use compressed air or a fan to blow the dust on the surface of the generator, radiator, and fan.
