Improper operation of a diesel generator set can cause great harm to the unit. When a diesel generator has a problem and is not solved in time, it means that it will stop working and even be scrapped.

Why does a diesel generator smoke?
Smoke from a diesel generator indicates that the engine is burning oil. There are three main reasons: 1. The piston ring is not aligned and the oil enters the cylinder; 2. The oil level of the oil pan of the air filter exceeds the height of the ring groove; 3. The gap between the guide tube and the valve stem is too large.
Smoke from a diesel generator indicates that some diesel atomized particles in its cylinder are discharged without being burned. There are generally three reasons: 1. Excessive fuel supply and overload operation of the diesel engine; 2. Low injection pressure of the injector and poor diesel atomization; 3. Too late fuel supply and low engine temperature.
Smoke from a diesel generator indicates that the atomized diesel injected into the cylinder is discharged before it is completely burned. There are three main reasons for this: 1. The fuel injector is stuck, the pressure is insufficient, and the diesel atomization is poor; 2. There is too much air in the oil circuit and there is water in the diesel; 3. The same reason as the black smoke, the fuel is supplied too late.
